How do I select the food for my reception?
Our culinary brigade prides themselves on originality, and offers an imaginative selection of menus to choose from. Or, we can custom-design a menu for you, along with your preference of beverages.
I/my guests have special dietary requirements, what are the options?
We are delighted to offer a selection of cuisines for any dietary requirements. Kindly consult your event expert for more details.
May I bring an outside caterer?
All events at Sharq Village & Spa are catered by our exceptional culinary brigade. However you may choose to have your wedding cake prepared by an outside vendor.
May I use outside vendors?
You may use outside vendors for your music, wedding cake and flowers.
Due to the specific nature of traditional Arabic weddings, outside contractors may also be used for staging and the provision of special colors, patterns or designer linens and adornments.
Are there any guidelines or requirements for using outside vendors?
A deposit of QR 10 000 will be required from the outside contractor to cover any damages caused to Sharq Village & Spa property. A copy of the subcontractor’s contract should be given to the client, signed by the subcontractor before the subcontractor enters the hotel.
The subcontractor’s contract should be presented to the event expert before any planning or negotiation..

At your request, our event expert can provide a listing of recommended vendors for all your wedding requirements, from decoration suppliers to entertainment.
